Information about the vocational training program
During the IT specialist with a focus on application development,you will learn technical processes and concepts from the world of computer science and thus gain a good overview of your future working environment. You will mainly work intensively with computers and learn programming languages and software development tools as well as test procedures. You will learn how the various software components interact, configure server systems and databases, and develop software.
The training takes three years. The theory is taught at the vocational college in Würzburg, the practical phase at the LEONI site in Kitzingen.
Future fields of work: IT Operations, Software Engineering, On Site IT, Information Technology, IT Project Management.
What you will bring to this role
- High affinity with IT
- Good command of English
- Ability to work as part of a team and flexibility
- Responsibility and ability to work independently
- “Mittlere Reife” (roughly equivalent to GCSE in the UK or a junior high school diploma), a vocational college diploma or a high school diploma
